Varsity Showcase Teams

 

Annandale Boy’s & Girls’s Club is bringing a HS AAU Girls’s Showcase team to Lancaster, PA on September 26, 27-28.

If you are a player that has aspirations of playing in front of college coaches, please inquire. We will be working out at least once a week and playing in pre-showcase games starting Labor Day weekend. We are also having a Fall AAU girls team. HS coaches on staff. Season Runs from March through August.

 

Tournaments

• 9th/ 10th grade Showcase Team will play USJN, EBC, and PBT Qualifier events and tournaments . This will involve some traveling & some over night trips.

• How many tournaments played will vary from team to team based on the goals set by each team.

• Team Intensity and ABGC‘s “ultimate goal” is to give each girl as much exposure to college recruiters and high level competition as possible.

• Weekends will be left open for tournament play. Teams will be practicing 2 to 3 times per week “schedule dictated”.

• Locations of Tournaments will vary..

• Each team will participate in a minimum of 10 events/ tournaments.

Tryouts

We will not have a formal tryout for either of these teams. This will be on an invite only exception. If interested in joining either team, you will be invited to a practice and evaluated.

 

Annandale Travel

HS AAU/ USJN Showcase Teams

 

The AAU/USJN are national programs. Teams will represent the Annandale Boys & Girls Club/ Team Intensity at various qualifying tournaments at the State and Regional levels. Teams are competing to represent their clubs at the AAU Nationals, USJN, and YBOA Nationals.
